Mainstream tier — accessible, widely available

These are the sets a new collector will find fastest and cheapest. High supply, lots of raw copies, easy to grade later.

• NBA Hoops — the classic, budget-friendly base rookie. Often the least expensive genuine 2018-19 SGA rookie card.
• Panini Donruss and Donruss Optic — Donruss is the affordable base; Optic is its chromed cousin with Holo and colored parallels that collectors chase. • Panini Prizm — the modern flagship and the most iconic SGA rookie, and the one card on this checklist with a confirmed number: #184 in the 300-card base set, shared by every parallel including Silver. Mid tier — hobby favorites

A step up in production quality and scarcity, and where a lot of the most attractive on-card designs live.

• Panini Select — three-tier design (Concourse / Premier / Courtside) with a deep, popular parallel run.
• Panini Contenders — home of the Rookie Ticket autograph, one of the most recognized SGA rookie autos.
• Panini Revolution, Threads, Court Kings and Certified — distinctive designs (Court Kings’ painted look is a fan favorite) with numbered parallels and inserts.

Premium tier — autographs, patches, low print

The high end: on-card autographs, game-worn patches, and serially numbered cards. This is where SGA rookie values top out.

• Panini Spectra, Origins and Noir — hobby-premium products with autos and low-numbered parallels.
• Panini Immaculate and National Treasures — the grail tier. National Treasures Rookie Patch Autos (RPAs) are the single most valuable SGA rookie cards.
• Panini Flawless and Opulence — ultra-premium, with the lowest print runs of any SGA rookie.

A note on Kentucky / draft-pick cards

You’ll also see 2018 Panini Contenders Draft Picks and Prizm Draft Picks cards showing SGA in his Kentucky uniform. These predate his NBA rookie cards and are treated as a separate collegiate category — collectible, but not true 2018-19 rookie cards.
